After starting life as a concept car in 2001 and moving to the prototype stage in 2005, the world was treated to the debut of the Nissan GT-R at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show. Powered by a 3, 799cc twin turbo DOHC V6 engine producing 480hp, this new GT-R has become the fastest production car to lap Germany's famous Nurburgring. Yet this high-performance super car is also comfortable for everyday driving situations and meets tougher environmental regulations as well in order to live up to Nissan's label of "multi-performance" super car.
